How We Live By Our Values
The Best Materials
We use exclusively sustainable materials. Our wood uses a formaldehyde-free and vegan assembly. It’s FSC certified, EPA approved and sourced all within canada. The finish we use is also certified organic, vegan and biodegradable.
Carbon Offset
Shipping is a major contributor to climate change. We work to combat that by milling locally. We also carbon offset our products from the moment they leave our warehouse to the moment you receive them.
Minimal Waste
At each stage of design and production, we ensure we’re doing our best to minimize offcuts and waste. We even use our sawdust in nearby compost schemes.
Proudly Canadian
We’re fiercely local. Design and manufacturing happen in Vancouver and we sustainably mill all our wood in Canada, helping us ensure everyone along the chain is paid fairly and treated equally.
Made to Last
Our furniture is designed to be broken down and rebuilt — many times. If something wears out or breaks, we can send you a replacement part to extend its life.
Fully Circular
The wood and finish from our tables are compostable. Because we don’t use harsh chemicals, when a pieces long life comes to an end, it can be broken down and returned to the earth.
